So Jillian was born a little over a month ago. And she's grown so much!!! Karielle still adores her little sister. Unfortunately, we all picked up a bug from SOMEWHERE. Probably a shopping cart since I specifically didn't take Kari to nursery so she wouldn't pick up something from one of the other kids. Anyway, so all 4 of us are sick. It's been pretty miserable around here the past couple of days. But I took a few cute pictures, dispite sick, cranky kiddos. Oh, and I french braided Kari's hair! So cute!! :DI'm a mom, a wife, a woman, I cook, clean, craft, budget, and teach. I'm a military spouse with a husband that works two jobs and takes 2-4 classes a quarter. I'm a busy (usually) cheerful person and this is a day in the life of me.

Three weeks old, 21 months old!
Hey everyone!!! I've got some new pictures for you!! Jillian had her two week checkup last monday and she's doing great!! Growing like a weed!! She's at the 50th percentile for everything. :D She gained a whole pound in two weeks!! It took Kari a month to gain a pound. Jillian eats like a vacume cleaner so I'm expecting the weight gain to continue. As for me, I'm feeling pretty good!! I'm already down 8 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. Belly is still flabby, but hey, I just pushed a baby out, give me a minute. lol!! Karielle is doing great! She's loving "her" baby. lol! She's been thrown into her terrible twos but we're dealing with it. She's not really liking me right now, but that's okay as long as she likes her sister. So now Jillian is three weeks old and Karielle is 21 months old!! Where on earth did the time go??
This outfit Kari is wearing I actually got from my friend Anna for my baby shower when I was pregnant with Kari, she can FINALLY fit in it. LOVE IT ANNA!!
My whole world is right here. :D

Okay people, sorry, it's been a while. But here's the story.
On the 25th of March at 6 am we went to the hospital to be induced. Long story short, after 27 hours and three hours of pushing with a little help from a vacume, Jillian FINALLY made her appearance. She had the cord wrapped really tightly around her neck which was keeping her from coming out. When they were pulling it off, the cord ripped a little bit. So everyone was freaking out. Jillian was blue and not breathing on her own at first. She was on oxygen for about a minute. But she bounced back really quickly and she's absolutely perfect. My mom was able to come up for three weeks and she took care of Kari, she was an absolute life saver because we were stuck in the hospital until sunday afternoon because I'd gotten a fever during labor and they wanted to make sure Jillian didn't get sick. So Jillian is now 10 days old. She's really mellow and she eats a TON. She's the polar opposite of Karielle, which is really good in this case because Kari was a very needy baby. We had a fun easter (I'll post more about that later) and mom left this morning so now I need to figure out how to do this all myself. lol! Thank you everyone for your prayers! Love you all!

40+ Weeks. Twiddling my thumbs.
Well, my countdown is done and yet, no baby. Stupid due date. I know that it's "an estimate" but about 70 percent of women have their baby BEFORE the due date, not after. Now, late babies run in the family so I just need to be patient. But with Kari coughing her lungs out all night and none of us getting any sleep for weeks, not to mention a very cranky toddler, it's hard to be patient with anything. I feel bad when I find myself getting frustrated with Kari because she's grumpy, I need to remind myself that she's grumpy because she can't sleep because she can't stop coughing. I've been blessed, she's a pretty easy going kiddo. But I'm sitting here wondering how I'm going to handle all night feedings with a new baby while I'm getting up several times a night with Kari for wiping noses, readjusting blankets and trying to make her as comfortable as possible. I'm not sure how much strength I have left. I just need her to get better already! Stupid RSV. However, in an effort to be positive in the midst of negative things, I'm going to remind myself what I'm grateful for.1. I'm grateful for a loving and helpful husband. Seriously, he's been so great. He works all day, then has school and his second job, and yet will still help me with Kari or getting things cleaned up. I love him for being so considerate of me and my current form. Never thought I'd have to have him tie my shoes, but I love him for doing it. :D And I love that he still thinks I'm beautiful, even when I look like I swallowed a basketball.
2. I'm grateful for Karielle. Dispite being sick and miserable for over a month, she still likes to make momma laugh. She's usually very cheerful and she's still learning and growing super fast! I find myself suprised at how quickly she picks up on things. She's a true blessing in my life.
3. I'm grateful for Brianna and the friends I have up here who have been so open and genuine about offering help and advice. Thanks guys, I really, really appreciate everything.
4. My mom. I know I'm being selfishly ecstatic about you spending WAY too much money to come be with me, but seriously, I'm so grateful. I have no idea how I'll get through this without your help. THANK YOU so much. And I can't wait to see you. (and the even MORE selfish part of me is super happy that you'll be here for my birthday. Yay 23! lol!)
Dear mother nature,
Please get warmer so that my baby doesn't freeze and we don't slide around on the road on the way to the hospital. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
As always guys, some cute pictures. Kari being adorable, and me on my due date (I thought it was such a novalty lol!)
I'll let you all know when something exciting happens. But for now, my next appointment is on Tuesday, we'll see how it goes. Love you all!!!

Last one for the day
Sorry, there were a lot of pictures I wanted to get up before I forgot. So Kari got this scratch on her nose. I saw this when I got her out of bed this morning. I think it's from her trying to wipe away snot (yes, she is sick AGAIN) It's quite the scratch, I have no idea how she managed to do that.Cute Hair!!
