So my exciting news!! I made the coolest diaper cake ever! (sure, I guess I'm tooting my own horn) Anyway, so there's a Captain in Tyler's office who's wife is having a boy next month and the office is doing a baby shower for them. I've wanted to try a diaper cake since I got mine when I was preggo with Kari. I was watching the how-to videos but they wanted you to roll them all and use rubber bands. I didn't have any so I kinda made it up as I went. I think it turned out pretty cool though. Lets see, "ingredients" were, two packages of Luvs diapers, one package of mylican, two teething rings, one rubber duckie, one rattle, one 4 oz bottle, two spoons, one crib sheet, one package of 4 onesies, one bib, and one pair of shoes (I'd forgotten to put it on in some of the pictures) basic curling ribbon for the inside rolls and then pretty ribbon for the outside. It took me awhile because I was trying to figure out what I was doing. lol! But the "flowers" on top are two onsies and a bib. The covering for the second layer is the other two onsies, and the cover for the bottom layer is the crib sheet. the inside of the second layer is where the bottle is. Lots of fun!! :D
That is toooooo cute! Must have been fun to make. Did you get pics of you making it or just the finished cake?
