Christmas Gift for my dad

Okay, so I decided it's about time I showed my Christmas projects. They all turned out awesome. I can't even pick a favorite because they were all great. First up, a Christmas tablecloth and place settings for my parents 5ft by 5ft table. This was the only project that everything was mine. My design, my math, my pattern, ect. I didn't use anything but a piece of paper to figure it out so I am especially proud of this one because it turned out awesome (now I want to make one for me, in every season of the year, a fancy sunday one, and an everyday one ha ha!) Anyway, on to pictures!
 This is 72 inches by 72 inches. It doesn't look great on my table because it's the wrong shape, but I'll bet it looked great on my parent's table.
 My cuties photo bombing. :)

 I loved the colors and you can't see in the picture, but there is a golden metallic highlight going through both fabrics.
 This outside boarder took FOR-E-VER. And every 3 place settings I had to refill my bobbin, just to give you an idea of how much thread it too.

Place mats and tablecloth together. I had to do 12 settings so I decided to do the 12 Days of Christmas
 A couple of my favorites.
I also bought champagne colored satin napkins and matching napkin rings and had them sent directly from the company so I don't have pictures of that. My sister supposedly has pictures of the whole setting together, but I haven't seen it yet. I hear it was gorgeous though. :)

  2. Thanks Priscilla!! I'm glad you liked them. I had fun making them and I was so excited to give something that I knew would be just what my dad wanted. :) Aren't those the best gifts?

  3. It's so fun to see you crafting and making things for your family. I do, do that. But taking the time to blog about it... seems impossible sometimes. I still have some posts about the family that I haven't put up. I'll get there eventually. {smile}

    I've just been thinking about you guys. I hope everything is going well. We hope Tyler is feeling ok. And maybe we'll be able to see each other in the next little while.

    Joy
